Verdict

Division one of the seven furlong handicap and CHEAP STREET is purely a tentative selection to win it; a whole host of dangers can be cited including One More Round, Musical Script and Ten Pole Tudor. Cheap Street has raced predominantly over six furlongs on his last couple of starts but the manner in which he is staying on in the closing stages of his races suggests that attempting seven furlongs is at least worth a try. One More Round continues to hold his form very well despite his advancing years. He tends to struggle to concede weight to rivals these days and is better suited by favourable race conditions in claiming company. Musical Script scored on his first attempt at seven furlongs for some time two starts back before failing to take advantage of what appeared a favourable mark at Wolverhampton last time. Ten Pole Tudor and Manchestermaverick, who is lightly raced and open to some improvement are others of note but Cheap Street is the selection.
