In depth

Verdict

Sir Mark Prescott will be keen to get a race out of the well-bred Celestial Ray but he was a little disappointing at Lingfield earlier this month. The Dark Wizard will be popular having chased home Royal Challis, who runs in the previous race, at Windsor last time but others have more scope including Chester fifth Greek Spirit and OASIS SPIRIT. We'll take a chance on the latter who didn't handle soft ground on her sole start at Newbury as a two-year-old. By Oasis Dream, it will be a surprise if she's not capable of much better this season.
