Verdict

BILLY BUTTONS will be a short-price to lose his maiden tag after going close at Windsor last time. The form looks rock-solid with the winner and third having boosted the form since and Andrew Balding's charge is the one to beat. Rocky Rebel should have come on for his belated seasonal debut and can figure along with Star Commander, who has come up against a couple of decent sorts at Pontefract on his last two starts. Steely should also go well without looking good enough to win, while Novirak is worth a second look on his debut as he's a half-brother to a Group 3 winner.
