Verdict

Cooler Climes is going the right way judged on his latest second at Lingfield and will be winning before long but the vote goes the way of STRIDENT FORCE today. He was well beaten in a decent handicap in heavy ground at Sandown on his seasonal bow after being gelded during the close season but can show his true colours back on a more suitable surface. Ta Ajabb is another expected to improve on his all-weather debut having finished fourth in soft going at Thirsk on his introduction and he's preferred to Monymusk and Nassau Storm but the newcomers Indigo Iris and Crimson Cheer are worth a second glance in the betting.
