In depth

Verdict

Tenjack King can land this at the expense of Trimaran and It¿s Josr. The selection has been knocking on the door of late finishing second to Gallic Charm at Lingfield last time out and he is looking for that door to swing open for him for him today. His form looks rock solid and if putting in a sound performance he can get his head in front. Trimaran will pose as the biggest rival to the selection having improved from his debut over course and distance to win here last time out. This will prove tougher having his first run in a handicap but any market support should be noted. It¿s Josr is having his first run of the year but did show signs of ability prior to his break so is another to note but for the winner we return to Tenjack King.

Formwatch

Bridge of Fermoy (IRE) He has won three times at 1m on polytrack. Won a claimer on his latest outing, when 11-4jt-fav at Kempton over 1m last month, beating Montefiore by 1 3/4l, his second win at the track this season. In good form and entitled to a great deal of respect.

Tenjack King Placed in all of his four starts. Third of 9 behind Man of Gwent beaten 2 1/4l at 5-6fav on his latest outing at Wolverhampton over 1m 1f earlier this month. He continues to go close and warrants the utmost respect now he tackles a handicap for the f.

Trimaran (IRE) Dam won over 7f at two years. Beaten 1 3/4l by Snowdrop Princess when second of 6 at 3-1 on her racecourse debut over this course and distance earlier this month. That was an encouraging start to her racing career and she could take all the beating i.

Montefiore (IRE) Beaten about 15l behind Sassy Gal at 16-1 on his latest outing over this course and distance in October. Unplaced in two starts in his juvenile campaign and possibly best watched on his return to competitive action this evening.

Hit The Roof Beaten about 11l behind Upper Class at 33-1 on his latest outing here over 7f last month. Won a claimer, at Lingfield over 7f last month, beating Llab Nala by 1/2l and could be dangerous to ignore back in this grade.

It's Josr Foaled 5 May. Beaten 1 1/4l by Animator when second of 9 at 18-1 on his latest outing at Wolverhampton over 1m 1f last month, his first placing in four starts. That was a much improved effort and he looks sure to play a leading role in this contest.

Irish Artist (FR) Finished 3l behind Zaskar when sixth of 15 at 15-2 on his latest outing at Yarmouth over 1m (soft) in October.

Mr Fantozzi (IRE) Unplaced in both starts to date. Beaten about 10l behind Shifting Star at 11-1 on his latest outing here over 6f (good) in June. Does not have the form to suggest that a win is likely here.

Desiderio Placed once in five starts. Beaten 8 1/2l behind Wee Buns at 4-1 on his latest outing at Kempton over 6f last month. Entitled to strip fitter for that run and could finish closer here.
