Verdict

Kalokagathia boasts the highest official rating but a string of seconds in maiden company including when starting a short-priced favourite on his last couple of starts makes it difficult to have much faith in him. As a consequence, EXCELLENT JEM is preferred as he wasn't beaten that far when fifth at Lingfield last week on his first start since August. The rest have plenty to find including Batchworth Firefly and are harder to fancy unless bumper runner-up Sign Pro proves suited to the drop back in trip.
