Verdict

L'UNIQUE is taken to defy the penalty she picked up for beating subsequent winner Cockney Sparrow at Aintree five weeks ago. She won that Listed contest by 12 lengths and may have more to offer. Alexandre Six has his first start for Nicky Henderson but may need confidence rebuilding after falling on his last two starts in France while another French import, Vibrato Valtat, was surprisingly beaten in an Exeter bumper on his UK debut and tackles hurdles for the first time here. Deia Sunrise won three times on the Flat for John Gosden and could be a useful recruit to hurdles but may just need this.
