Verdict

Rome may yet come good but he's overlooked on the back of a string of placed efforts. Mac's Superstar had Bayleyf back in fifth when scoring over track and trip but had little excuse for failing to figure back here last time. Until Midnight's winning run came to end when upped into this grade at Newmarket last month, so a chance is taken on GRAVITATIONAL. The latter looked more like his old self when third at Pontefract last time and has decent claims off his current mark on the evidence of last season's best efforts.
