In depth

Verdict

TOBY LERONE fell in the Grand Sefton at Aintree but was prominent at the time and it was only his fourth start over fences. Just 4lb higher than when scoring at Lingfield previously, Dan Skelton's novice could well pick up the winning thread again here. Ice 'N' Easy was very progressive last spring and could go well if fully wound-up while Arthur's Pass latest fourth at Doncaster was his best run for a while. Sergeant Dick has taken well to fences and was only beaten six lengths off today's mark at Newbury. He's preferred to King Edmund and Barlow of the others.
