La Marmotte has shown improved form of late and she may be good enough to make a winning return to the Polytrack and score at the main expense of Ishibee and Cantique. The last mentioned is hard to weigh up after just the three runs necessary for a handicap mark and is unproven on the surface so may be best watched. Autumn Storm gives the impression of being a shade high in the weights now and of more interest may be the Barry Hills-trained Spinning Crystal, who is open to improvement and may do better now that she goes handicapping. Ishibee has gone well on the Polytrack before and is another to consider but the vote goes to La Marmotte, who has a progressive profile and she looks the one to be on.
