In depth

Verdict

First-time blinkers seemed to do the trick for NIFTY SHIFTIN last time and he scored in better company than this at Newmarket on his handicap debut. He can confirm the form with runner-up Karuga, who has ran well again since, and David Elsworth's charge should follow up. Royal Majestic has gone backwards since a promising debut behind the smart Kinetica at Chester but Electrickery continued her steady progress with a third at Hamilton last month and makes her handicap bow along with Godolphin's Storm Belt, who has looked no great shakes so far.
