In depth

Verdict

SONNOLENTO is a tentative selection in a wide-open maiden race. He was beaten only a nose over 7f here last time ahead of a subsequent winner with Special Code back in sixth. The latter's stablemate Inexes went close at Wolverhampton last time and Putting Green ran well at the same track ahead of Parole and Dexterous. Fiesole, Entitling and Molten Lava are all likely to improve and the newcomers Sumeida and New Style, a half-sister to high-class multiple Group 1 winner Dream Ahead, can also be added to a long short-list.
