Verdict

With most of these struggling for their best, the unexposed CANTAL could take advantage. A losing favourite at Yarmouth last time, she won her maiden on the Polytrack and Sir Michael Stoute's filly should have more to offer on only her third start of the season. Idler scored at Newmarket in between a couple of modest efforts but Ocean Legend's recent victory at Bath came in a much easier contest. Usain Colt and Golden Tempest have bits of form that give them a shout while Treadwell will pop up sooner or later having tumbled down the weights, though he's shown no signs of doing so of late.
