      Verdict

      SAM SPADE was fancied to open his account over track and trip last week judged on the betting. He just failed to hold out on that occasion but can make amends in this, probably at the chief expense of Green Special. The latter also went very close on his latest start at Wolverhampton and should be in the mix once again. Beau Select has the beating of Tiger's Home on collateral form, although Julia Feilden's filly will have come on for her reappearance over 7f here, but the remainder look up against it on what they've shown so far.
