Verdict

Lucky Black Star remains in woeful form despite sliding down the weights and Platinum Proof has shown his best form over shorter trips so far. Ocean Power finished runner-up at Chepstow before a poor effort at Bath, but Mill I Am may do better taking a big step up in trip on her handicap debut. NEPALESE PEARL has improved for the step up to 1m2f and went close at this track last time. He looks the safest bet with more to come over today's longer distance unless Atalanta Bay has improved since last seen at the track back in April.
