Verdict

Diosypros Blue and Pastoral Pursuits both look progressive types but Michael Jarvis has a strong team of two-year-olds this term and Cartography is expected to give him further success. The selection could not have been more impressive when winning at Doncaster on his debut and, although this represents a step up in class he looks up to it. Diosypros Blue was good value for his nursery win at Ascot last week and has to be respected but more is needed here and a bigger threat may be Windsor winner Pastoral Pursuits, who has some big race entries. Windsor Castle winner Holborn disappointed at Newmarket last time and may be best watched today. More interesting could be the Alan Jarvis-trained filly Latin Review, who won well at Chester last time and looks to be going the right way but Cartography gets the verdict to give Michael Jarvis another winner.
