In depth

Verdict

Mawaakef has yet to show any improvement for his tumble down the weights and both Tuscania and Parigino finished ahead of him over C&D last time. Ancient Greece scored over track and trip a fortnight ago but is upped in class and Lingfield winner Cayuga makes more appeal given the three-year-old landed his handicap debut in good style. However, another chance goes to DUBAWI ISLAND, a close second in this grade behind Chookie Royale at Wolverhampton a week ago when hanging right in the closing stages. That won't be a problem at this track and he gets the nod.
