Some disappointing types on view and Pearl can see off the challenges of Red Current and Soldier Field. The Daylami filly does not possess much in the way of speed but her presence has scared off much of the opposition and she can use the opportunity to add a couple of guineas to her paddock value. Red Current may have been flattered by a recent second to Without Excuse. She is likely to be tried under hold-up tactics this afternoon. Soldier Field is dropped into this grade for the first time having struggled in handicaps. Satindra is not completely without hope if the principals misfire. Connections continue to place their hope in a tongue-tie and cheekpieces. Beckenhams Secret returns to the flat having made no impact over hurdles. Snake Hips has struggled at this level previously and doesn't strike as if tonight will see a different result. A moderate claimer and Pearl can pick up first prize.
