      Verdict

QUADRILLE looks a stand-out bet here and he can get the better of Awesome Act and Conduct. The selection won his maiden in comfortable fashion at Newbury last month, despite looking as though he was in need of the run. The race has worked out okay and with this longer trip in his favour he sets the standard for the others. Awesome Act has twice gone close to opening his account and his second behind Ameer last time out was a step in the right direction. Conduct is a well bred colt from the Sir Michael Stoute yard and he is certainly worth considering on his racecourse bow, while Circumvent won well on his debut at Southwell and he is another to consider. Quadrille sets the standard though and he looks the one to beat.
