        Verdict

Arctic Desert is a sporting choice in the finale, with Nautical and Norcroft others to bear in mind. That said, there may also be more to come from Finsbury, who showed a liking for this course last time and, as he is open to improvement, he is one to monitor in the betting. Norcroft has not enjoyed the best of fortune this term and needs everything to fall into place for him. Nevertheless, he is capable of at least a place in the frame and he can do his bit to make this a good test. Nautical is a nice ride for an inexperienced jockey and has to be considered as a threat on the bets of his efforts. However, Arctic Desert almost landed a touch when James Rodgers gave him a solid ride in a similar race here last month and only a slightly better effort will suffice in this company.
