Verdict

Galiotto is looking to make amends having been sent off favourite over track and trip a fortnight ago with Ryan Moore on board. He'd earlier beaten DR FINLEY here but the latter re-opposes on better terms and was winning off an 8lb higher mark on the Turf last year. Lydia Pearce's charge gets the nod given Ogaritmo and Arashi were both well beaten despite filling the places behind Shalambar at this course a fortnight ago. Newtown Cross popped up over course and distance in January when Ocean Power was third but has since reverted to type when well beaten off a higher mark.
