Peter Makin looks to have found a good opportunity for BANDA SEA to get off the mark, though Lucky Score should make a race of it. The selection is actually worse off with that rival than if this were a handicap, but only by 2lbs, but the way he stayed on when runner-up at Lingfield over 7f last time suggests that this step up to a mile will suit, so we'll take him to go one better. Lucky Score drops back from 1m 2f today after twice going well in defeat over that trip. It is hard to see Mouse Hamilton-Fairley's charge having quite enough speed for this on the evidence of her career to date, so we will take her on. Dark Camellia has plenty to find on official ratings but 7f or a mile is her sort of trip and so she can get involved at a track she enjoys, while Ian Wood's runners are in decent nick and money for Woodland Violet after a year off the track would be very interesting. Nothing else makes serious appeal and Banda Sea can sail home in front.
