GOLD AGAIN can open her account at the main expense of Convallaria and Sweet Gale. The last named emerged from a spell in the doldrums to go within a quarter of a length of gaining a third career success from a mark that was 17lbs lower than the one from which she last scored. Course specialists Takitwo and Convallaria may still be a shade high in the weights but are well drawn and enter calculations. Walter Swinburn is turning into something of a course specialist too with eight winners from twenty one runners here this year and he could well be on target once more. Gold Again was poorly drawn at this track on her seasonal return and struggled to go the pace but she's better berthed this time and steps up in trip which can enable Gold Again to land the spoils.
