Verdict

Chris Wall's STANLEY RIGBY made a pleasing first start on the Polytrack on his handicap debut over course and distance last month when a head second to Prince Valentine and he can reverse that form meeting Gary Moore's nine-year-old on 1lb better terms with the main danger rated as Inquisitress. John Bridger's mare has finished a close up fourth in each of her last two starts and should be thereabouts again back to a winning mark. Kathleen Kennet ran better in a Wolverhampton seller last time and has to be respected but remains a maiden under all codes after 21 starts and of more interest may be Hi Spec, who has run to a consistent level of form in recent starts. The nine-year-old Imperium has slipped to a fair mark but needs to step up on recent form to trouble the judge and a better bet looks to be Stanley Rigby, who can open his account.
