Verdict

THE STEWARD made a promising debut here at the beginning of last month and put the experience to good use two weeks ago when landing a maiden in good style. He makes his handicap debut from a lowly position in the weights and is taken to complete a quick double. Never To Be has won twice on Polytrack including here but didn't run quite as well as expected at Yarmouth last time. Barnmore has four career victories to his credit, all over this track and trip. He's 4lb higher than his last success but Charles Bishop's claim takes care of most of that and another big effort should be forthcoming. Ogbourne Downs is just 3lb higher than his Sandown victory in the summer and made a pleasing Polytrack debut here last time so a big weight shouldn't prevent a good run.
