Santadelacruze and Compton Bird have won over longer trips on the Polytrack recently and the latter makes more appeal over today's distance. Strategic Action has made the frame in similar company on a couple of occasions this season while Welsh Inlet wasn't that far behind Kielty's Folly, who is entered in the previous race, when sixth over track and trip last time. Diplomatic will be winning off his current mark before long but CAPE CROSSING, a winner at Ffos Las in August, gets the speculative vote to come good again in this.
