Verdict

CEFFYL GWELL is likely to be a popular choice in this. He got off the mark when beating a couple of previous winners over 6f here last month and, with today's extra furlong likely to suit, Richard Hannon's colt is taken to follow up. May's Boy has landed a couple of claimers this year but is facing a tougher task back in this company off a 9lb higher mark, and C&D winner Indian Jack looks a bigger threat on his reappearance and handicap debut. Christmas Aria won at Southwell in January but is not out of this on his best Polytrack form.
