Last year's Lincoln hero PENITENT subsequently won a Listed event at Sandown beating the recent Godolphin Mile winner Skysurfers and has plenty going for him here. The slow ground at Newmarket wouldn't have helped his cause when fifth on his first start over today's distance in October, but he's expected to see the trip out today with Frankie on board to coax him home.
