In depth

Verdict

Chateau Nicol, Digital and Finished Article are the three we like here and the vote is given to Digital. The selection is best with cut in the ground and although he is not the easiest to win with he has plenty in his favour here and he looks the one to beat. Chateau Nicol has been given a break after a successful stint on the AW. He is a likeable type who remains well-treated but he is probably better on a slightly faster surface and for that reason we will take him on. Finished Article will have no problems handling this ground but he is better over a mile and he may find this 7f a little on the sharp side. Big Bradford is not the most consistent but he is capable of running a big race at a price, so he could be worth an each-way play. However, for the winner we return to the Mick Channon-trained Digital.
