Verdict

Ree's Rascal is usually thereabouts at this level but Webbow has gone off the boil and Chelwood Gate appears to have two ways of running. Defendant has been competing in much better company against his own age group and should finish closer in this grade while recent course and distance winner For Posterity steps up in class. The latter is preferred to Intiba but another chance goes to BARTACK. He found little in the closing stages in soft ground last time but had a subsequent winner back in third when scoring over track and trip before that and can return to winning ways.
