Verdict

There probably isn't much to choose between stablemates GETTING READY and Next To Nowhere on the form book but the former has had the benefit of a recent run and more scope having finished a fair third on his racecourse debut at Wetherby. He gets the vote though Into Wain also has to go on the short-list after just being touched off over a longer trip at Catterick last time. L'eminence Grise and La Bacouetteuse continue to disappoint, however, so newcomer Absinthe may be a bigger threat having gone close several times on the Flat this year for Walter Swinburn.
