Verdict

ABRAGANTE won for the first time in this sphere at Sedgefield 12 days ago. A formerly useful chaser, he's had his problems recently but looks back on track now and may well be capable of following up. Sacred Mountain boasts decent form in point-to-points but his record under Rules leaves plenty to be desired and more interesting is L'Oudon, runner-up at Catterick and Sedgefield in his last two starts. Special Portrait was third at Aintree earlier this month but looks held by the selection on a line through winner Aggie's Lad.
