In depth

Verdict

MORNING SUNSHINE is progressing well having recorded back to back successes at Cartmel and Bangor and he won well enough last time to believe that he can cope with his latest rise in the handicap now that he's found his feet. Kosta Brava looks to be the one to beat despite an errant display at Perth but he can be forgiven that as he's far from the first horse to run out at the venue. He was travelling well at the time and is unexposed in this discipline. Best Horse was beaten a long way in the same race on debut over fences but it wouldn't entirely surprise to see him improve significantly on that form here whilst the longstanding chase maiden Tranos comes here on the back of a couple of sound performances.
