Verdict

All of Soul Magic's wins have come at Cartmel and Harriet Graham's novice may just be worth opposing in his bid for a five-timer on this track off a new career high. BENEFICIAL REFORM has already won between the flags and his two runs over hurdles were at a decent level. The handicapper has taken no chances with the six-year-old but he has the scope to succeed in a better grade than this and gets the vote. The Paddy Premium was already beaten when unseating his rider at Perth last time and looks vulnerable again, while The Cockney Squire was pulled up on his latest start in April but couldn't be totally ruled out here if fully refreshed.
