In depth

Verdict

Harry Flashman looks a pretty solid option here, with Political Pendant and Sir Preacher Man suggested as best of the rest. Harry Flashman is the highest-rated of these, being rated 111 and, having proven he can go on good to firm, has to be a major player against largely modest opponents. The market might provide your best clues as to which horses are the dangers, although Political Pendant is a good-ground Sedgefield winner, admittedly from a mark of 80, and Sir Preacher Man ran fairly well last time and might appreciate today's less-testing going conditions. Overall, though, the selection has to be Harry Flashman.
