Verdict

Circus Clown is potentially well treated and is a course and distance winner, though his recent form is hardly inspiring. Bogside has been just as disappointing but Funky Munky won at Catterick in January and is only 3lb higher here. ENDEAVOR has been raised the obligatory 6lb for last month's victory at Sedgefield but the second went close at the same track on Friday and Dianne Sayer's eight-year-old came good at this time last year. He can follow up as the French import Flogarose may need more time to acclimatise and Scimon Templar disappointed when favourite here last month.
