Verdict

SHOTAVODKA was expected to do better than fifth at Haydock last time but this is less competitive and David Pipe's charge is only 2lb higher than when winning at the same track in May. Glenquest won off a much lower mark over hurdles a fortnight ago but has not scored over fences since 2012 while Diocles has two ways of running and is due one of his better efforts today. Always Right is also hard to predict and Little Glenshee is up in class after going close at Carlisle. Harry The Viking finished closer last time having slipped down the weights and could figure but Mister Marker and The Panama Kid are both struggling at present and Aachen is having his first start since April.
