Verdict

Supreme's Legacy will probably take a bit of beating here but we will take him on with BIG BONE, while Stark Raven is among others with some sort of claim. The selection has produced his best form over trips around two-and-a-half miles and on decent ground, but he has stayed further. Therefore, today's trip on what is a flat enough track should not be too arduous for him and with a 2lb drOp in the weights to help we'll side with him. Stark Raven is very lightly-raced for a nine-year-old and he stays at least as far as this. He ran well enough at Carlisle last time on goOd ground, although he would prefer it softer and he struggles to find a change of gear. Supreme's Legacy was much better than this over hurdles in the past. This would be just about his minimum effective trip over fences and with the ground not ideal we'll oppose. Kinfayre Boy will go on the ground, stays well and has been given a chance here by the assessor, so money for him would be very interesting. Paddymcgintysgoat might prove best of the remainder but in a poor contest we'll side with Big Bone.
