Verdict

Fourpointone has shown a consistent level of form of late and Michael Scudamore's gelding is taken to gain a deserved success over hurdles, getting the verdict ahead of Kings Story and Monsieur Georges. The last mentioned has, like the selection, been running well without winning of late and should again be thereabouts. Eight Fifty Six has claims on the pick of his form but the seven-year-old may be a shade high in the weights at present so he may be booked for a place at best, while Domenico is likely to struggle to give weight away all round. Jonjo O'Neill's Travel Guide is less exposed than his rivals but needs to improve on all known form to trouble the judge and of more interest may be Kings Story, who ran better at Bangor last time. Fourpointone has solid claims though and he is preferred.
