Verdict

In a race that could help someone become a millionaire in the Scoop6 HOUSE OF BOURBON has the tentative selection ahead of Acosta and the returning Heathcliff. The selection is still a maiden in National Hunt but is the fairest treated of the field as a result. Racing off the same mark that saw him put in an improved effort at Fontwell last time. It is suggested that interested punters should keep an eye on Kerriemuir Lass in the previous race here. She was second ahead of the selection in that Fontwell contest and a victory would obviously stand up the form. That outing was his British debut and suggested he can be placed to win on the down side he might need firmer ground. Acosta's chances may have been dashed by the handicapper after he was put up 12lbs for his victory over distance at Hereford last time. This is by far a career high mark, which will be a difficult challenge to overcome despite receive weight from the main protagonists and the going is also not in his favour. Heathcliff has a really good chance here on the back of last season's form. Three placings ended proceeds last term and a continuation of that will see him close; that said he prefers cut in the ground. General Alarm also has a decent claim as he is now well below the mark that he last won off and should be more than respected but the vote belongs to House Of Bourbon.
