Verdict

Petit Fleur was good value for her win at Newton Abbot when last seen in August and has every chance of following up but a 16lb rise for that success makes life tougher and a better bet may be SEE YOU JACK, who gets the verdict. Caroline Bailey's gelding was a winner between the flags and is unexposed over hurdles after just two starts so looks worth siding with having run promisingly when chasing home Mossley over course and distance in a novice event last month. Charlie Mann's Unleashed has run to a reasonable level of form in his last two outings and should be thereabouts again but may have to settle for minor honours once more. Henry Daly's Paquet Cadeau and Alan King's Prince du Seuil are others worthy of a mention but it is the lightly raced See You Jack that gets the nod.
