In depth

Verdict

Thoresby has found the ground too soft on his two starts since scoring at Towcester in October and today's conditions should prove ideal. Samtheman tried this trip for the first time at Ludlow and came close to gaining his second success over timber from just 2lb higher. Tisfreetdream scored at Southwell by no less than 17l but has been put up an incredible 16lb, which looks harsh for a twelve-year-old. Long Wave has done nothing to deserve his high rating so the vote goes to HARRYS WHIM from his lowly spot in the handicap after a fair run at Doncaster.
