In depth

Verdict

Not a great race for the money and we'll take a flyer with Tin Symphony in the hope that Daryl Jacob can get a decent tune out of her. The Ring is a solid option with Kedgeree and Sparkling Taff amongst the alternatives. Fleetwood Forest could leave his previous form behind if reaping the benefits of a wind operation whilst support for either of Emma Lavelle's runners would bring them into the equation. Ouragan De Prairie may improve for the switch to chasing whilst Sitting Duck looks on the way back and is likely to make a bold bid to make every post a winning one. As ever, he's there to be shot at and The Ring should be to the fore of the chasing pack but Sparkling Taff is dropping back from 3 miles 2 which has to be a concern. Kedgeree is lightly raced and improving with experience but we'll take chance with one of the rags. The selection is still a maiden after 20 starts but is far from devoid of ability. She's clearly got to prove that she retains some of that ability and has to answer doubts about the trip and ground but that will all be factored into her price. Her yard can boast a ¿57 level stakes profit in handicap chases over the past five seasons, Daryl Jacob is two from three for the yard over fences and Tin Symphony is worth a speculative interest at potentially rewarding odds.
