Verdict

Street Entertainer was always travelling best when beating Gud Day over a longer trip in a Stratford seller on Thursday and should have no problem confirming that form on better terms. He'll probably start favourite here as he has the highest official rating of these but can be a little quirky. Hawdyerwheesht in on a hat-trick after wins at Chepstow and Stratford but has changed stables recently and was well behind KAYFTON PETE in a handicap at Worcester in September. Charlie Pogson's gelding has run well again since at the same track behind a well-treated rival and is worth following here. Short Takes was second at Perth last time but is another who has his own ideas about the game.
