In depth

Verdict

This is a stronger bumper than the first division and if A P McCoy is hanging around to ride NEVER NEVER that should signal a first victory for Donald McCain's charge, who showed potential with a close second at Leopardstown when trained by Ted Walsh. Transient Bay attempted to make all at Sedgefield earlier in the month and didn't weaken until a furlong out while Warriors Tale made a promising debut at Ayr in November and was taking on much better opposition at Musselburgh in January. Clan Legend is related to numerous winners and may prove best of the newcomers.
