Verdict

Kilbree Chief landed a novice hurdle here and has run well in handicaps on his last two starts, including over an extended three miles at Wetherby. THE RAMBLIN KID is a very progressive staying type who made all for a convincing victory over 2m6f at Newcastle. He's taking on stronger opposition here but is improving enough to take the step-up in his stride. Robbers Roost showed that staying is his game with a battling victory over this trip at Chepstow where the testing conditions played to his strengths. He won't go down without a fight while dual winning bumper Tonvadosa, who made a successful hurdling debut at Kelso, will find this less daunting than the Listed event he competed in at Haydock.
