In depth

Verdict

ANEYEFORANEYE has to concede weight all round but should still be good enough. Well beaten in a valuable mares' final at Newbury last time, the daughter of St Leger winner Minster Son had previously proved a model of consistency and progression, highlighted by a brave success over the talented Lovey Dovey at Mussleburgh in January over two and a half miles. She can be quite keen at times so two miles on this tough track should be ideal. Miss Tarantella has her limitations but usually delivers her best and looks the likeliest danger off a fair mark, while Maria Antonia has yet to show her good form of 2009 after returning from an enforced absence. Loch Dhu is a possible outsider.
