In depth

Verdict

An interesting little handicap with the top four all respected. However, Dottie's Dilemma and Gleann Na Ndochais return from absences of 248 and 188 days respectively whilst Cavite Eta, a Sedgefield wnner last time, is definitely not an easy one to catch right and is also up 6lb for that latest success in Durham. Therefore the nod goes to SUPRISE VENDOR who went well last time for stable conditional Daragh Bourke when a commendable runner-up at Kelso behind Clondaw Knight. He's basically a solid and generally reliable handicap chaser and that could be enough here, especially as he also boasts a course and distance success to his name.
