Verdict

More than half of this field will be carrying more than their allotted weight, which doesn't say much as none of those carrying more than the minimum are exactly prolific. Bob Will won in the autumn but his form has regressed since while In The Haven may not have achieved much when scraping home at Cartmel. Strobe has gone right off the boil but Attycran keeps making the frame, though is still a maiden after 23 career starts. BAFANA CHOICE would have been placed in a novice chase over course and distance last time had he not been hampered. He must have more scope than these and receives the token vote with Denis O'Regan doing the steering.
