In depth

Verdict

The first juvenile hurdle of the year and the market should prove the all important guide to how the race is set to shape up. The Pipe yard often do well at this time of year in this grade and Dinarius, while no world beater on the level, brings the best flat form into the race. He is a speculative selection to land this. Duke Of Touraine landed back-to-back victories on his final two flat outings while the Haslem yard tend to do well also in these events. Haydens Mark is very interesting. Although possibly flattered by his flat rating, he showed undoubted promise in flat maidens. Dinarius is the selection to land the first juvenile hurdle of the season.
